In a letter written to the Home Minister and Inspector General of Police Monday, the rights body demanded action against the attackers.
It has also expressed sadness over "the act of the state of not taking a hard line on attacks on police posts". The letter has appealed to the IGP to protect the police post and security personnel deployed there.
