Issuing a press statement on Thursday, NFFA says that NA can take at least 25 percent of total online and offline cargo shipment market if the state-owned carrier operates to additional destinations. [break]The statement also says NA is losing daily around US$ 25000 worth of cargo income in the absence of sufficient flights.
"NA can ship at least 25 percent of daily 35 tons of total air cargo consigned from Nepal. NA is carrying around five tons of cargo in a week. We have seen huge potentiality of NA in cargo service if sufficient flights are operated by the carrier in major destinations," said Rajan Sharma, president of NFFA.
