New regulations for UK student visa

KATHMANDU, Aug 7: The British Embassy in Kathmandu on Friday announced new set of regulations for student visa application. The embassy said that the applicants would have to fix an appointment at the visa center before submitting the application.



Currently, all appointments for student visa are booked till August 28. The new appointments will re-open on August 25.



It has also asked prospective applicants to check the VFS website (www.vfs-uk-np.com) for details. “These arrangements have been introduced to ensure that the visa operation runs efficiently for the benefit of all customers,” the statement issued by the embassy said.
