He said that although a conspiracy is being hatched in order to foil constitution writing process, the process could not be halted. He went on to say that the August 24 Tikapur incident that had killed nine people, mostly police personnel, was part of a conspiracy to foil the constitution writing process.
Minister Basnet was speaking at a program organized by CPN-UML youth wing Youth Association Nepal in Bhaktapur.
He said that the new constitution is a need of the country and that no one could stop it from being issued. Those voicing against the constitution could subside automatically once the statute will be promulgated, he argued.
On the occasion, Basnet also welcomed 110 people who rejoined his party. RSS
