Nepali employee killed in road accident in Malaysia

KANCHANPUR, Oct 23: A Nepali employee currently living in Malaysia was killed in a road mishap two weeks ago.



The deceased was Raju Oda of Bhujela in Bhimdutta Municipality-11 in Kanchanpur district, said father Kishan Oda.[break]



Oda had gone to Malaysia a year ago by borrowing loans for employment, it is learnt. The dead body of Oda has brought home on Tuesday.



Meanwhile, two persons were seriously injured when a pressure cooker blasted in the district today. The injured are Laxmi Awasthi, 35, and Dev Awasthi, 10, of the same family at Pipaladi-7 in the district.



Both the injured are being treated in a local health post, said a local Ganesh Bhatta. The cooker blasted while Laxmi was cooking food, it is learnt.
