Meanwhile, Nepal´s coach Krishna Thapa said his team were eyeing victory against Maldives and host India.
"We are looking for win against Maldives with high morale," Thapa had said before the team´s departure to India. Meanwhile, Thapa who had left Delhi with 21 players had axed midfielder Anil Ojha from the final list.
Maldives will come up with majority U-22 players against Nepal. In the inaugural match on Wednesday, host India beat Syria 2-1.
