Nepal goes down 2-1 against Bangladesh

KATHMANDU, Feb 11: A brace from Nabib Ziban of Bangladesh U23 disappointed Nepal U23 in the last group stage match of the 12th SAG Games Men's Football as the latter came down 2-1 on Thursday.

Nepal maintained an early lead from Ananta Tamang with a header in the third minute of the match. However, Nepal were already down by 2-1 in the first half of the match as Nabib Ziban scored twice in a span of five minutes (40 and 45 minutes).Nepal will meet Maldives in the first semifinals on Saturday while Bangladesh will play against India in the second semifinals.
