Nepal elected to bat first after winning the toss but did not have a start they would have liked. Subash Khakurel and Faizlur Khan both did not contribute much scoring seven runs each before Sagar Pun and Prithu showed some resistance.
Pun was out scoring 22 off 48 balls. Prithu completed his half-century in 52 balls and went on the score 64 off 62 balls with six fours and two sixes before being run-out.
Rajesh Pulami (17), Pradeep Airee (27 off 14 balls) and Rahul BK (19) got the start but failed to convert into big score. Shiva Tandukar (1) and Krishna Karki (4) were out early and it looked like Nepal would score less than 200.
But, last wicket partnership of unbeaten 49 runs took Nepal to a formidable total. Bhuwan´s 36 runs and last man Avinash Karn´s 5 off 29 balls concluded Nepal innings in a good total.
For Thailand, Jai Bhagwat took 3/60 in his 10 overs and Ishan Karla got 2/37 in eight overs.
As they were under pressure they made stroke and it made me easy to do my bowling job, said Biswokarma after the match. "The ball also dropped on the place where I tried to drop".
