PANCHTHAR, March 8: Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Narendra Kumar Kerung has been elected to the House of Representatives from Panchthar. 



According to the vote count that concluded this morning, he was elected with 17,233 votes. His nearest competitor, Hastraj Sharma of the Shram Sanskriti Party, secured 14,734 votes

Similarly, CPN (UML) Aindra Sundar Nembang got 14,534 votes, Nepali Communist Party's Harka Bahadur Nembang got 11,443 votes, and Rastriya Swatantra Party's Mahendra Bikram Thamsuhang got 4,197 votes, according to the Office of the Chief Returning Officer.


Chief Returning Officer Kumar Maskey shared that out of 143,408 voters in the district, 70,818 votes were cast.
