NEPALGUNJ, Oct 10: Home Minister Bhim Rawal on Saturday said that the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML are more committed to civilian supremacy than the agitating UCPN (Maoist).

Talking to media persons after his return from the flood-affected districts in mid and far western districts, Rawal said there was no point in obstructing the House in the name of ´civilian supremacy´. He said the government would look for alternatives, if the Maoist didn´t allow the government to pass the budget.

Stating that the law and order situation had improved in recent days, Rawal also announced that the government would do all it can to provide relief and compensation to the landslide and flood victims.
