Recalling her visit to Nepal last year to mark the 100th birth anniversary of the late BP Koirala, the first elected Prime Minister of Nepal, and inspiring address on the 'Relevance of Social Democracy', President Koirala added, "We share your unswerving faith in democracy and humanity. The overwhelming mandate expressed by the people of Myanmar to your leadership in the peaceful elections vividly demonstrates common commitment to democracy."
President Koirala extends best wishes for her in her mission of advancing national unity and reconciliation within an overall framework of democratic polity and put the country on the path of inclusive development.
