A meeting of the PP meeting held at Singha Durbar also observed one minute´s silence over the death.
The meeting lauded the role played by the late Bhattarai in bringing down the Rana regime and helping transform the country toward democratic system.
The resolution also said that Bhattarai´s demise has caused the nation to lose a mature, nationalist and democratic leader.
