He said, "There is no alternative to the fresh mandate. People will not approve the Constituent Assembly term extension if it was extended again." [break]
Speaking at a press meet on Wednesday, Nidhi said Nepali Congress, Madhes based parties and all other democratic forces should be ready for the fresh election.
Leader Nidhi further said that timely constitution was not written as the Maoist party´s entire focus was centered only in the government formation and dissolve instead of prioritizing the constitution writing after completing the peace process.
Responding to a query of journalists, Nidhi said the concern of the President on constitution writing and peace process is obvious and that comes under the constitutional responsibility of the President as well.
