Speaking at a program organized by Banke Chapter of the Nepal Press Union on Sunday, he stressed for taking the peace process to its logical conclusion saying that peace could not be established only by promulgating the new constitution.[break]
The main challenge of the government is to maintain peace and security in the country but the government failed to do so, said the former prime minister.
He said the national consensus was the only way to resolve the present political deadlock adding that the Nepali Congress will not join the Khanal-led government in the present condition.
