"Things are moving positively and we hope to settle the row within a day or two," Arjun Narsingh KC told Republica.
Deuba faction has demanded 25 additional members from their side in the NSU ad hoc committee and ensure chiefs of Nepal Tarun Dal and Nepal Women´s Association enjoy a slim majority of members in their organizations.
The rival faction said although there will still be issues such as formation of parliamentary board and various departments, the willingness of the establishment side to address the preconditions could help end its boycott of the CWC meeting.
"The establishment side has shown positive gesture to address our preconditions to avoid boycott of CWC meeting," said a senior leader close to Deuba. "We will start attending the CWC meeting from Tuesday if our preconditions are met."
NC has called a CWC meeting on Monday. "A separate CWC meeting of our faction is scheduled for Monday morning and will forward the names of members for NSU ad hoc committee," the leader further said.
Deuba faction has been boycotting the CWC meeting after Koirala dissolved working committees of seven sister organizations including NSU, Nepal Tarun Dal and Nepal Women´s Association on September 20, 2011.
Deuba subsequently tendered his resignation from the party´s CWC eight days later, apparently to show his displeasure over the move.
