The Committee has been organizing the national industrial exhibition since 26 years and this is the 23rd edition of the exhibition.[break]
The main objective of the exhibition is to expose the small and cottage entrepreneurs at the national level, to expand and promote the market for goods produced by the small and cottage industries within and outside the country and to familiarize the consumers about the Nepali industrial products.
Eleven different sub-committees have been formed to conduct the national industrial exhibition.
Stalls exhibiting and selling bamboo and rattan furniture, the traditional Dhaka handloom products, fabrics made of natural fibres, leather goods, handicraft items, food, organic tea and coffee, hand-made paper and woolen apparels, among other products will be kept in the exhibition.
Besides holding interaction between the stakeholders and the bodies concerned on the problems of small and cottage industries in the country, 15 outstanding small and cottage entrepreneurs will also be awarded on the occasion. They will also be taken on familiarization trip abroad.
