Nat'l govt under discussion: Dahal

KATHMANDU, Oct 6: UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday said that the top three parties are discussing a national unity government.



"We are discussing national unity government with civilian supremacy with other parties," he said while launching a magazine in Kathmandu.



Dahal reiterated that there possibility of agreement between the top three parties.







He claimed that other parties - Nepali Congress and CPN-UML - had become serious on the issue of the civilian supremacy.



"They are now in defensive position," he said.



He said that if there is no consensus among parties before Tihar, the Maoists will continue with the nationwide movement against the government.
