Thakur and Dhakal, who were absconding at the time when the case was filed, had appeared before the court on Tuesday following court´s summons.
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) had filed a corruption case against Thakur and Dhakal and four other NAC officials including Executive Chairman Sugat Ratna Kansakar at the court nearly two months ago.
They were charged with violating the Public Procurement Act and embezzling Rs 57.3 million while sending non-refundable lock-up money to the Airbus company.
