In another battle of banks, NIC outplayed Siddhartha Bank by 6 wickets. NIC chased the target of 46 runs in 3.5 overs with Sujan Rai scoring 31 off 14 balls.
Nabil Bank beat Nagarik Media by six wickets scoring 50 in 3.5 overs. Amit Pokharel got 32 off 14 to make it easy for the team. Nagarik now plays Global Bank in Group H for the second round berth.
Similarly, Nepal Investment Bank defeated Sanima Bikash Bank by 29 runs after scoring 72/2 –t hanks to 25 off 14 by Niranjan Rana. Sanima lost despite Padam Singh Mahata scoring 31 off 20 balls.
Nepal SBI Bank got better of Sunrise Bank registering seven-run victory. SBI scored 49/2 and restricted Sunrise for 42/3.
In other matches, Bank of Asia outplayed APCA Nepal by six wickets chasing 45/1 in 2.3 overs while Surya Nepal beat organizing Soaltee Crowne Plaze by 12 runs after posting 63/4. Soaltee lost despite Vivek Khadka making 30 off 17 balls.
