An interaction was held among former army chiefs and serving brigadier generals at its headquarters on the draft constitution.According to a press statement issued by NA, the interaction focused on issues related to national security and Nepal Army, among others. The NA plans to collect feedback from its various units and ex-servicemen, the statement adds. The feedback will be presented to the Constituent Assembly (CA) committee entrusted with collecting feedback on the draft constitution.

NA will carry out debates at units under its regional headquarters and former servicemen on issues of national interest, policies related to national security and defense, NA's mobilization, command control and management and the Security Council.

According to sources, former NA chiefs and principal officers have expressed serious dissatisfaction over the provision that would bring the recruitment process and promotion of NA staffers under the ambit of Public Service Commission (PSC).
