Penned by lyricist Durga Lal Shrestha, the seven songs in the album are composed by Nhyoo Bajracharya. Kristina, who is only 14 years old, was born to a British father and Bhutanese mother and has been singing and performing for the past five years. Currently a grade 10 student at the British School in Kathmandu, she also enjoys thanka painting, photography and cooking dishes apart from singing.

Recalling his first meeting with Allen, lyricist Shrestha said, “I thought I was supposed to write some children’s songs for her. Now, watching her perform my romantic songs, I’m flabbergasted,” he added. Musician Bajracharya who shed light on the making of the album informed, “This album is the outcome of three years of hard work. We had to work more on Allen’s pronunciation.”

Allen performed two of her songs, one in Nepali and the other in English, the latter written and composed by her. Although it is not her mother tongue, she enjoys listening and singing Nepali music and songs.
