“My resignation alone will not solve the problems,” he said upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport.[break]
He said all problems can be resolved through all-side talks instead of forceful activities. “I’m not an obstacle for solving the problems, rather a support of it,” he said. “But, for this, Maoists should come to negotiations with honesty and commitment to implementation of the agreements reached in the past,” said Nepal.
“Every issue can be solved from the dialogue,” he added.
He also added that if the Maoists are thinking of imposing autocratic rule through the general strike, it would only be the misfortune of the nation.
He said that anything can happen in the country if the Maoists try to capture state powers through violence.
He was talking to media persons at the VVIP lounge of the airport, he said the situation may take any turn if the Maoists try to capture the state by exploding bombs.
“Maoists are trying to capture the state from street,” he said at the airport. “There are indications that Maoist general strike would be violent,” he added pointing out to the arrest of Maoist cadres with lathis and grenede.
"The government is capable to maintain peace in the county," he claimed.
