The Ministry of Health has not deputed any doctor here after the hospital doctor Badri Chapagain had set out to Kathmandu Bir hospital for pursuing MD on last October.[break]
According to acting Chie of the District Health Office, Chakra Bahadur Malla, though there is two quotas of doctors for the hospital the Ministry has put one doctor for further study and has kept another quota vacant.
´There is compulsion to refer serious patients to Nepalgunj and Surkhet while Dr Chapagain in Bir hospital at the moment is being provided salary from the district´, he expressed his grief.
Though the health rights is enshrined as most essential and human rights of the citizen, the government itself has breached the fundamental human rights of Mugu people by not sending doctor to the hospital, said INSEC district representative Lokendra Bahadur Hitana.
