"Any leader who works against party interest and discipline will face action from the party," said MPRF-D Chairman Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar while addressing a program organized by the party.
He maintained that the party has been investigating few more leaders on their involment in anti-party activities.
According party insiders, MPRF-D is likely to expel more central committee members close to Bhandari. Central committee members including Pramod Gupta and Om Prakash Yadav had rallied with Bhandari against government´s announcement of the November 22 Constituent Assembly (CA) election.
In a separate context, Gachchhadar argued that only the CA can promulgate a new constitution. "We have seen the possibility of the CA election however, political consensus is a must for this as there is no alternative of a new election."
Meanwhile, central committee member of Rastriya Prajatantra Party Narendra Kumar Chudhari and Co-Chairman of Rastriya Janamukti Party Shankar Lal Chaudhari joined MPRF-D on Wednesday.
Gachchhadar granted them membership amid a program at the party´s headquarters.
Separately, protesting against party´s decision to expel Bhandari, youth leaders associated with Youth Forum Democratic (YFD) burned effigy of Gachchhadar across Tarai districts on Wednesday.
"We burnt the chairman´s effigy against his dictatorship in the party," said secretariat member of YFD Shivaji Soni.
