BIRATNAGAR, Jan 25: Probably Nepal´s oldest twin brothers, Ganesh Bahadur Karki and Gajakishor Karki are celebrating their 100th birthdays some two months later. And, both of them aspire to live until the Nepal gets a new constitution.

Gajakishor was born one and a half hours after Ganesh Bahadur in Muga of Dhankuta. Both of them migrated to Morang over 30 years ago. Today, they have their own families in Madhumara of Biratnagar. [break]

Despite having their own families, the twin brothers spend most of their time together. Gajakishor´s house is just 100 meters from Ganesh Bahadur´s.

Ganesh Bahadur is healthy and relatively sprightly. "My father has no health problems," says Ganesh´s youngest son Kedar.

"He walks around every day." Gajakishor is somewhat ill after falling off the bed while asleep a few months ago. He cannot walk like his twin brother Ganesh Bahadur.

The twin brothers have a common dream: May the Nepali people live in a peaceful environment. "I think I will live at least five more years," Ganesh Bahadur says. "I hope the Nepali people will get a new constitution before I die."
