KATHMANDU, Oct 10: Many parts of the western regions of Sudurpashchim and Karnali provinces, along with a few areas in the western part of Lumbini Province, are currently under the influence of westerly winds, while the remaining regions are experiencing weak effects of monsoon and local winds, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
Ensure better preparedness for monsoon disasters
Partly cloudy skies are expected in Koshi Province and the hilly regions across the country this afternoon, while the weather will remain mostly fair in the Terai region. There is a chance of light rainfall at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces, the MFD said.
By nightfall, partly cloudy conditions are likely in Koshi Province and the hilly regions of Gandaki Province, with mostly fair weather in the rest of the country. Light rainfall is possible at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi Province, the MFD added.
