At a press meet organized by Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), Palpa Thrusday, Minister Tripathi said it was already clear that the country will go for federalism so constitution without federalism will not be promulgated.
He accused some of the political parties of trying to twist the issue of federalism even if it is a must for the country.
There is no disagreement in principle among the political parties while bringing the country into federalism on the basis of identity and power, adding that the Congress and UML have also agreed to go for federalism on geographical line.
Tripathi, who is also the leader of Terai-Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP), said the political parties should budge from their stance to promulgate new constitution considering the need of the country.
