Mega Bank Nepal Limited became the fourth co-sponsor after ISME Private Limited, Surya Nepal and Dish Media Network. NSJF President Niranjan Rajbansi and Mega Bank CEO Anil Shah struck the deal on behalf of their respective institutions. [break]
As per the deal, Mega Bank will provide cash incentives of Rs 30,000 each through Mega Excellence Award -Sports to winners under six categories other than Pulsar Player of the Year male and female awards winners as declared by NSJF. As co-sponsor NSJF will promote Mega Bank. The winners in the male and female categories will be awarded with a Pulsar motorbike each.
In this edition of Sports Award, NSJF has included eight categories including Pulsar Player of the Year male, female and youth as well as the Pulsar Coach of the Year, Pulsar Para-athlete of the Year, Special Award, Lifetime Achievement Award and the Pulsar Popular Player of the Year.

NSJF has already announced five nominees for Pulsar Popular Player of the Year for voting through SMS. Nominees for other categories, except for Special Award, Lifetime Achievement Award and Pulsar Para-athlete of the Year, will be announced shortly.
Speaking on the occasion, Mega Bank CEO Shah said that Mega Bank acted in line with its philosophy of rewarding best personalities of various sectors of society including education, sports, business, politics and others with the slogan of ´Hamro Hoina Ramro Lai Prathamikta´.
“Sports can be a means of uniting the whole nation, and we are proud to be associated with the prestigious sports award,” Shah said, adding, “We hope to make our ties with Sports Award even better in the coming years with better deals.”
Speaking at the function, NSJF President Rajbanshi said that the ceremony was expanding each year with the support of business and corporate houses.
