Meet on promotion to secys put off

KATHMANDU, July 11: A meeting of administrative committee of the cabinet scheduled for Saturday morning to take a decision on promotion of joint secretaries to 22 vacant posts of secretaries was put off for Sunday.



Minister for General Administration Rabindra Shrestha said the meeting was deferred due to the obstruction created by the establishment faction of Madhesi People´s Rights Forum (MPRF) in the House. “All our concentration was diverted to resuming the House business. So, we could not hold the meeting,” he said.
