A total of 12 research papers on various aspects of Nepali media were presented in the conference organized by Martin Chautari.
Two panel discussions, one on print media and other on media research situation, was held during the event which was participated by Kanak Mani Dixit, Yubaraj Ghimire, Ram Krishna Regmi, Pratyoush Onta and Dharma Adhikari. On Thursday, C K Lal in his key-note speech talked about nationality, media and nationalism.
