KATHMANDU, Feb 10: Dissident Maoist leader Matrika Yadav said on Tuesday that he is going to announce "restructured Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist)" in the capital on Wednesday.Talking to myrepublica.com, Yadav said he has already brought "thousands of Maoist cadres" to his fold. "It is not a new political party," he said. "This is going to be a restructured CPN-Maoist."
Yadav has been claiming that he is the only Maoist leader, after CPN-Maoist united with CPN-Unity Center-Masal on January 13 to form Unified CPN-Maoist.
He was at odds with the Maoist leadership after he, as a cabinet minister, led a land grab campaign in Mirchaiya of Siraha district in September last year. He was later asked to resign from the post.
