Maoist withdraw strike in Rupandehi

BUTWAL, June 3: UCPN (Maoist) has withdrawn Rupandehi shutdown from Thursday afternoon after police arrested three accused in the murder of the party´s local leader Sapatu Yadav.



Police said it arrested Rajendra Pasi, Ram Bilas Nayak and Dev Raj Jaiswal. All the three accused are former Maoist cadres who were in possession of arms at the time of their arrest, said Superintendent of Police Chhabilal Banjade.



Maoist leader Yadav was killed last Monday.
