"Politburo discussed on managing the issue of internal conflict and decided to formulate the agenda for the CC meeting," spokesperson Dinanath Sharma said after the meeting.
The CC meeting is scheduled for Thursday.[break]
At the politburo, chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, senior vice-chairman Mohan Baidya and vice-chairman Dr Baburam Bhattarai put forward their opinions, according to Sharma.
The conflict within the top leadership of the Maoist party peaked when Bhattarai walked out of a meeting and boycotted the party´s political orientation program after he was told he would not be allowed to put forward his note of dissent to the cadres.
The Maoist office-bearers meeting postponed all the remaining political orientation programs and decided to hold politburo and CC meeting.
