Speaking at an interaction in Pulchowk, Lailitpur, on Saturday morning, he said the Maoist was not true to the agreement though the country has moved ahead on the basis of the past agreements.
He said present problem was created after the Maoist denied dissolving the paramilitary structure of the YCL and to return the seized properties to the owners.
He suspected that the latest Maoist movement would invite confrontation in the country.
Pokharel who is also the government’s spokesperson said a new constitution could be drafted within the deadline if all parties reached to a consensus. “The task of drafting the constitution is of the Constituent Assembly and the government’s responsibility is only to create conducive environment to complete that task”, he added.
