KATHMANDU, Feb 2: The seventh general convention of the UCPN (Maoist) will help construct a new model of global revolution, party spokesperson and coordinator of the publicity department of the convention, Agni Sapkota said.
Briefing media on eve of the convention, Friday, Sapkota said the party will float constructive plans and policies for the benefit of the country. [break]
"Only rhetoric will not serve the development interests of the country and not protect the nationality. Constructive plans and policies are need of the moment, we will fulfill these responsibilities," Sapkota said.
He also said that convention that concludes on Thursday will cost around 20 to 30 million. The financial reports and name of financial contributors of the assembly will be made public, he further said.
Preparations complete for congress

HETAUDA: The preparations of the 7th national congress of the Unified CPN (Maoist) have been completed. The congress is going to be held in Hetauda from today.
Chairperson of the party Pushpa Kamal Dahal ´Prachanda´ will inaugurate the programme at Hupra Chaur in Hetauda today afternoon. The leaders and the cadres of the party from different parts of the country have already arrived here. The cadres from neighboring districts are still coming to attend the congress.
The party has prepared for rallies from different four places of the city, the party informed.
