Mandatory labor can end poverty: Harka Sampang

KATHMANDU, April 15: Harka Sampang, chairperson of the Shram Sanskriti Party, has said that poverty can only be eliminated through mandatory labour and voluntary labour contributions.



Emphasizing the interconnection between nature, culture, and technology, Sampang said that balanced and proper development of these three elements is essential for the protection and progress of human society. He argued that mandatory labour practice is necessary to achieve such development.

In a social media post, he described his political philosophy as “Harkabad,” stating that only continuous practice of mandatory labour and labour donation can end scarcity, poverty, discrimination, and the resulting conflict, war, destruction, and unrest.


He further wrote that this approach represents a formula for building sovereignty, prosperity, happiness, and a bright future by working directly with the land and soil of the country.
