Gajendra Lal Pradhan finished in the second position in 31 minutes 44 seconds.[break]
In the men 5,000 meter of 35-45 age category, Sonam Singh Tamang finished in 17.42 minutes. Narendra Bajracharya and Bhim Bahadur Gurung finished in second and third position respectively. Krisha Gurung finished first in the 5,000 meter of 45-50 age category in 17.56 minutes.
Mahendra Dangol and Deepak Kumar Ranjeet finished in the second and third position respectively. In 50-60 age categories, Buddha Bir Lama, Doctor Gopal Bhaubanjar and Pushpa Lal Shrestha finished in first, second and third position respectively.
Nepal Boxing Association President Ravi Raj Thapa finished in the first position of the 1,500 meter in above 50 years category. Durga Bahadur Khayat and Babu Raj Pandey finished second and third position respectively.
In 1,500 meter, Mahendra Bajracharya finished first in 35-40 years category, Kapil Bhatta in 40-45 years category, Abhi Narayan Adhikari in 45-50 years category. In the 400-meter men´s category, Sailesh Shrestha finished first in 35-40 years category, Prajol Shrestha in 40-45 years category, Gautam Majhi in 45-50 years category and Suresh Gurung in 50-55 years category.
In the 100-meter men´s, Devendra Shrestha clinched first position in 35-40 years category, Lila Kumar Shrestha in 40-45 years category, Tika Ram Shrestha in 45-50 years category, Krishna Singh Shahi in 50-60 years category and in above 60 years category Raghu Raj Onta finished first.
In women´s 100 meter of 45-50 years category, Bimala Joshi finished first. Joshi again finished in first position of 3,000 meter race. In the 3,000-meter walk of 60 years and above, Gopi Shrestha finished first.
The meet was organized by Doctor Khagendra Sports Foundation in association with Nepal Amateur Athletics Association. Altogether, 146 veteran athletes participated in different age categories.
