BHADRAPUR, Dec 16: A woman died after she was thrashed by her husband in Jhapa district on Saturday night.

Sukalaxmi Nepali, 55, died on the spot when her spouse, Man Bahadur Nepali, a resident of Satasidham VDC Ward No. 1 thrashed her following minor family dispute, said Area Police Office, Jhiljhile.

Man Bahadur is absconding after his wife died and police investigation is underway, said police.
