BEIJING, July 21: A Chinese man calling himself Inspector Lei has reportedly been arrested after it was revealed he was impersonating a cop, and even had a fake police station.

Lei was allegedly blackmailing his ex-girlfriend with a sex tape of the pair, so she reported him to authorities, South China Morning Post reported.

When officers searched his home – which resembled a police station – for the tape, they found police and military uniforms, tools including handcuffs and stun guns, as well as forged documents.

Report said Lei would impersonate a police officer and charge his victims to "help fix their problems".
