Gharti had recently returned from Qatar and had arrived in Khalanga on Tuesday evening. He had been in the Gulf country for employment for the last couple of years.
He was staying at his uncle Dhan Bahadur Gharti´s hotel. After having his dinner, he retired for the night in his room, his uncle said.
He died during his sleep, informed police inspector Shalikgram Poudel. His body has been sent to the district hospital in Salle for post-mortem.
