ILAM, Nov 26: A man who escaped from police detention at District Police Office (DPO) on Sunday night but was re-arrested on Monday afternoon.
Prem Adhikari, 18, of Ilam Municipality-9, was nabbed from near his home, said Bhim Bahadur Dahal, SP at DPO.[break]
He had managed to escape by deceiving police at around 10 pm last night.
Adhikari is in police custody on charge of being involved in illegal activities including theft.
