The general assembly of the A division football club on Monday also elected a nine-member executive committee. Sunil Shrestha has been elected vice-president while Shyam Sundar Shrestha is the secretary. [break]In the newly-elected committee, only treasurer Yaresh Lal Karmacharya was elected unanimously.
Likewise, Anjirman Karmacharya, Sunilman Karmacharya, Prajwalman Singh Tuladhar, Roshan Khan and Chetan Karki are the members of the executive committee.
Outgoing president Sunil Kapali said he didn´t contest the election because he wanted to pave the way for young leaders in the club. Kapali was the club´s president for the past 12 years.
"I´ll play the role of an advisor and guardian in the club. The election was only a transfer of leadership and I´ll continue to be actively involved in football," said Kapali, who is also the vice-president of All Nepal Football Association.
