In the semifinal match of the U-14 boys´ singles, Gauchan bounced back from the second set down to beat Sakshyam Karki 6-4, 5-7, 6-0 to set up the title showdown with Lissanevitch. Lissanevitch, on the other hand, cruised into the final with a comprehensive 6-1, 6-1 win over Aavash Malla.
Utasavi Joshi, Bibhuti Karki and Samrakshyak Bhushan Bajracharya were the other players to win titles in their respective age groups.
Joshi defeated Abhilasha Bista 8-0 in the final of the U10 girls´ singles while Bibhuti Karki disappointed Mayanka Rana to win the U-14 girls´ singles title. Karki registered a 6-2, 6-4 win over Rana, who is still in contention to win the U-12 girls´ singles final on Saturday.
Rana will lock horns with Anne Mathema in the title clash on the final day of the tournament, which also features gold-medal matches in the U-10 boys´ singles and U-16 girls´ singles.
Bajracharya saw off Renjen Lama 6-3, 7-5 to clinch the U-12 boys´ singles title. Bajracharya is also in the race to win his second title when he faces Sulav Dhital in the final of the U-10 boys´ singles.
Bajracharya secured a place in the final defeating Swaraj KC 8-3 while Dhital hammered Prasiddha Panjiyar en route to the final.
