Limbu carded a net score of two-under 68 to claim the trophy by three strokes. Arjun Sunwar and Mani Kumar Limbu, both eight handicappers shot net 71 and on the count-back Sunwar got runner-up trophy and Limbu received the second runner-up trophy.[break]
Bishnu Sharma claimed the best gross trophy with a gross score of five-over par, 75. Dal Bahadur Rai claimed the best senior golfer´s trophy with a net score of 74. Jhuna Rai was the best lady Golfer with a net score of 67.
Rupesh Pariyar got the closest to the pin award while Babindra Rai bagged the longest drive award and Santosh Limbu took the most birdies award.
The tournament was organized to celebrate 50 years of Golf in Dharan and Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd has sponsored it. The tournament was played under stroke play format with full handicap allowance. Altogether 40 amateur golfers from Kathmandu and Dharan participated in the tournament.
Chairman of Nirvana Country Club Shashi Ram Bhandari and Executive Director Kalpana Bhandari, Acting Chief of Dharan Municipality Bhoj Raj Khatiwada gave away the prizes to the winners of the tournament.
