They have been rushed to Bharatpur Hospital for treatment. Six families and guests in the houses were injured in the incident.
At least six telephone lines have been disrupted while television sets and other electric devices were also damaged in the lightning, it is said.Details of the incident are awaited.

The accident took place after a Bhairahawa bound bus (Lu 1 Kha 5857) and a truck (Na 4 Kha 5209) from the opposite direction collided head on at Darechowk VDC-4.
