Legal practitioners condemns Chinese for court attack

BHAKTAPUR, Jan 11: The Nepal Bar Association, Bhaktapur Chapter has strongly taken exception to the attack launched by Chinese nationals on the court in a bid to forcefully get their colleagues arrested on the charge of involving in illegal activities released



Issuing a press release on Tuesday, the Chapter condemned the act orchestrated by Chinese nationals ridiculing the country´s rule of law and demanded action against the guilty. [break]



Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur has registered special report at the offices under the security bodies concluding that the attack on court by Chinese nationals on Monday evening was as per the cold-blooded plan.



The Police Range on Tuesday registered the report with all details at District Administration Office, Bhaktapur, Office of Metropolitan Police Commissioner and Police Headquarters, Naxal after carrying out investigations.



A group of around 40 Chinese citizens in five vehicles had attacked on the court with a deliberate plan to free the 10 Chinese nationals arrested by the Inland Revenue Office from Jagate of Bhaktapur with counterfeit US Dollars on Saturday while they were taken to district court for the extension of jail term, stated in the report registered at the security offices.
