The displaced families could not get relief yet which the government is said to be provided.
Painyu village of Sirdibas, which is at seven days’ walking distance from the district headquarters, is at the risk of further landslides.
Man Bahadur Gurung of Sirdibas said the whole hill had collapsed after the earthquake where dry landslide also used to occur continuously in other seasons as well.
According to VDC Secretary Bal Bahadur Pantha, there are no trails now to reach the villages.
Seven VDCs of the district, which are beyond the Himalayas are far backward in terms of various services, including transportation, communication, drinking water, health and education.
Locals of the areas have requested the government to be responsible towards them.
Meanwhile, 50 houses are going to be constructed for the marginalized Chepang Community under the People’s Housing Programme of the Department of Urban Development and Building construction.
According to Chief of the Urban Development Division Office, Gorkha, Dilip Shekhar Shrestha, about 50 quotas for the houses have been received this year from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Works, while it was only one quota last year.
There are settlements of Chepang Community in Bhumlichowk, Taklung and Makaisingh areas in the district.
Shrestha said it will cost Rs. 170,000 to construct each house.
