Yes, there’s no such thing as too much of a good thing; it’s our pleasure to inform that out of 18 contestants, number 13, Kriti Tamang Lama is Republica Miss Teen 2010. Lama, who also bagged Miss Talent, had performed a dance number in Gairi khetko from the movie Prem Pinda.
The prejudgment round of Miss Teen Nepal, including the question and answer session, took place at the Dwarika’s Hotel, Battis Putali, on December 15.
After winning the crown the Miss Teen shares, “I guess I knew it the whole time (laughs), my self-belief has been a driving factor, and I’m really happy.”
Shriya Poudel handed over the crown and responsibility to Lama, ending her reign as Miss Teen Nepal 2009. Following closely were Anjali Pradhanang and Alisha Kunwar, first and second runner-up respectively. Kunwar also bagged the Miss Popular award.

Organized by JCI Kathmandu, Nepal, the event started at 4 pm at Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi, on December 16, to a jam-packed audience.
Chief guest JCI Sen. Birendra Bahadur Shrestha’s question, “How has been your teenage so far?”, decided the eventual winner out of the top five.
The panel of judges included experts from various fields, ranging from literature to media. The judges included Prakash Sayami, independent film maker; Sahana Bajracharya, Miss Nepal 2009 first runner-up; Anil Shah, chief executive officer of Mega Bank Nepal Ltd; Dhana Lama, radio program producer and presenter and Babita Basnet, editor of Ghatana Ra Bichar weekly.
Miss Nepal 2009 Zenisha Moktan and Kunchang Moktan Tamang, Miss Tourism Nepal 2007, were the official choreographers for the event.
