Speaking at a function here in Narayangadh, the NC chief also said the Maoist chairman does not have a status to make such a statement.[break]
At a roundtable discussion organized by CPN-Maoist on Saturday in the capital, Dahal had said the leadership of the next government under NC would not be acceptable to his party.
Koirala also said he smelt a rat in Dahl’s statement, elaborating that the remark reflected Maoists’ intent of capturing state powers.
Likewise, Koirala accused Maoists of only creating obstacles in the country and asked them to adopt politics of consensus in an honest way.
“Despite the Maoists showing fraudulent nature, we haven’t given up our effort to forge consensus,” Koirala added.
