The Kirat party active in the Eastern districts such as Khotang, Sankhuwasabha, Okhaldhunga has directed its cadres not to raise donation.
"We made this decision to keep the party´s image intact as various groups were found collecting donations in our name and put a blot on our character," said Bibash Bidhrohi, central chairman of Kirat party.
Earlier, Kirat workers had been collecting donations to run the party.
